		<description>I feel exactly the same way as you did about artichokes though I am embarassed to say I still havent tried preparing them myself - it&#039;s on my to do soon list &amp; will try not to put it off for too much longer!</description>

		<description>I recenly made my first foray into cooking artichokes, after picking some up at the Castle Hill growers&#039; market.  They were much easier to prepare then I thought they&#039;d be - the only thing was we didn&#039;t take off quite enough of the outside leaves, so a couple of them were a bit chewy. 

This is a lovely collection of recipes, I especially like the look of the broad bean salad.  Thanks..</description>
