Mmmm your soup looks delicious!!! Vegetarian week sounds like a cool idea, but I doubt I could convince hubby of the merits... We're already doing 1 or 2 vegetarian suppers a week though, so I think we're good. :-)

Jules this soup is fantastic! I took your advice & added the Chorizo & it gave it added zing. Mr. Serial Renovator reckons it would be good with shredded chicken, so will give that a go next time. The yoghurt & coriander are the jewels in the crown. I've been a lurker for ages, so time to find my commenting voice & this recipe has been the catalyst. Your blog is totally amazing, your passion for food is inspirational & I love that the blog seems to be food-whacker free.
Millie ^_^

Oh, I am considering trying the vegetarian thing for a month in May - just to give it a try, though maybe aiming for a week to begin with would be more do-able. Soup looks delish :)

I was veggie for about 4 years after an ill advised school trip to a factory farm (what on earth were they thinking?!?).

I did enjoy it and still eat veggie a few times a week, but I doubt I could do it again. When I started eating meat again I just got a bit choosier regarding where the meat came from. Meat is like wine - consume less of a higher quality and you can't go wrong :)

The Friday dinner sounds great. I like roasting squash and stuffing it with a mix of fried onion, pine nuts, rice and Parmesan. So tasty on a cold night. Going to add the soup to my ever increasing list of 'things you need to cook'. Thanks for the recipe.
