[...] 5. stuffing Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without a big bird and stuffing. If you haven’t tried sausages in stuffing you’re in for a real treat – they add a subtle meatiness and mositness that will have everyone coming back for seconds. Give it a try with my cranberry, sausage & macadamia stuffing. [...]

OMG!!!! This turkey is to die for. You are absolutely right- the secret is in the brine and it is so simple and easy to do and makes the turkey super moist. Best turkey recipe ever!! I mean it even survived a car trip in the brine in an esky. It actually made it a lot easier to transport my turkey as well- BONUS! I was really scared of cooking my first turkey and now i don't know what i was so worried about- your recipe was super easy!!

The stuffing was so tasty and your idea of basting the extra stuffing with the turkey juices was perfect. I can not stop gushing about how wonderful my Christmas turkey was!! Thanx Jul!!

We can't forget the yummy cranberry sauce as well. The perfect companion to the turkey and the stuffing. Thyme is absolutely me favourite herb now.

No need for vegies- i think salads are the best option as well- light and simple to complement the yummy turkey!!

Thanx for such a great recipe, Jul. I'll be using it again at Christmas in July!

Luv u xoxo

Jules - good call with the Christmas in July focus. Have noticed our Northern Hemisphere expat friends really embracing the festive campaign this month. Given the summery Winter at the minute, one can have their turkey and still enjoy the SPF 30+!
