SIMPLE NO-FUSS RECIPES A TRIBUTE TO MY MUM

After my Mum died suddenly in August 2007, I decided to pull together a collection of her recipes. With the help of my sisters I tested and photographed all the classic family dishes we had grown up with.

The results were too good to keep to myself so I decided to self publish the book to celebrate the beautiful life of my Mum and share our family’s collection of simple, no-fuss Australian recipes. Recipes that anyone can learn to cook and that everyone will love to eat.

WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT ‘AND THE LOVE IS FREE’

Trudy
new family favourite dinner – pasta with bacon & cabanossi – now called ‘red’ pasta. yum.
we all love your book, lots of quick and kid friendly things

Sasha
I gave them to all the girls for Xmas (who are all mothers themselves) and they were a hit!
I’ve read it from cover to cover, parts of it really hit home as my own mother still wages her battle with cancer, and I laughed & I cried.
Next thing will be to try some of the recipes.

Christine
Received your book “and the love is free” yesterday so surprised how soon it arrived.
Would just like to say what a wonderful compliment to your mum the recipes and your written memories associated with that recipe are truly lovely.
I can honestly say this book will be a treasured part of my kitchen – thank you for sharing the pics and recipes and I wish you all the best.

Margot
Just thought I would let you know that your cookbook is having a good effect…..
Not sure if you remember signing a book from my friend Suz – she asked you to sign it for her husband telling him that she was looking forward to sampling some of the delights….
She came home on Monday night to discover that hubby hadn’t been able to find anything sweet in the house so had whipped himself up some scones with jam and cream from your book!!
She thought it was hilarious …but needless to say she was impressed!!
