This year I’ve been more than a little obsessed with the book ‘The One Thing – the surprisingly simple truth behind extraordinary results’ by Gary Keller.

Basically it’s about focusing on the ‘one thing’ that will make everything else easier or irrelevant.

When it comes to cooking, my ‘one thing’ isn’t meal planning.

Or shopping at the farmers market.

Or even sticking to simple recipes.

My ‘one thing’ is bulk prepping ingredients in advance.

Sometimes called ‘batch cooking’ or ‘mise en place’ it is truly the most important habit when it comes to feeding my family well with minimum fuss and maximum health and deliciousness.

It’s the one habit that’s been a game changer for my coaching clients and my students as well.
