Addictive Broccoli Tuna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g frozen broccoli rice or regular frozen broccoli
  • 1 medium can tuna or other cooked protein
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

PLUS Ingredient

  • small handful fresh basil leaves optional

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium saucepan on a high heat. Then add the frozen broccoli rice.
  2. Cover and cook 2 minutes. Remove lid, stir and keep cooking uncovered until the broccoli is warm.
  3. Drain the tuna and add to the pot to warm through with a pinch of salt.
  4. Pour the hot tuna and broccoli in a bowl. Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle over the basil leaves (if using).
